LINC Scotland, the national business angel association, has signed the first of what is hoped to be a series of agreements with the World Bank, to assist with the development of business angel markets in various regions around the world. The contract was awarded after an international competitive selection process and Nelson Gray, LINC’s Director of Market Development, has already begun preparatory work for the initial programme in the CARICOM economic region (comprising 15 nations and dependencies in and around the Caribbean region). LINC Chief Executive, David Grahame, commented: ‘We are delighted to have won the opportunity to design and deliver this programme and see it as recognition of LINC’s strong track record in the field’.
