Stool transplant firm secures £2 million funding extension to break US market

Aberdeen-based EnteroBiotix wins backing of Equity Gap, Scottish Investment bank and SIS.

Aberdeen clinical stage therapeutics company EnteroBiotix has closed a seed extension investment of £2 million to increase its presence in the US.

Practising NHS doctor James McIIroy founded the firm which advances the science of transplanting stool bacteria from healthy people to treat gut infections such as c.difficile.
