Scottish Chambers of Commerce president Tim Allan has joined the board of early-stage technology and science investor group Archangels.
The former soldier succeeds Alastair Salvesen, who will step down after 10 years at its annual Chorus event for investors and investee companies this evening.
Allan is a private equity and property entrepreneur who founded Motor Fuel Group, the second largest independent fuel retailer in the UK where he remains a director. The Dundee based former Royal Tank Regiment officer has been an Archangels member since 2017 and has been active on the syndicate’s New Deals Committee over the last year.
