ESIL – IBAN | EUROQUITY E-PITCH SESSION
Do not miss the first ESIL IBAN Association e-Pitch session, which will be held on Tuesday, October 16th at 5 pm CET.
Five excellent and promising projects have been carefully screened and chosen by Euroquity and IBAN to pitch. Companies will each have 7 minutes to pitch, and investors may ask questions via a chat window throughout. You will be able to see the company profiles and their presentation documents on the EuroQuity platform after the event.
New Member! | APER joins Business Angels Europe as an affiliate member
Business Angels Europe is very pleased to welcome a new affiliate member this week. The APER network from Poland will join as an affiliate member. APER Angels invests mostly into technology based deals in the seed, series A and B rounds. In the last 5 years investors associated with group invested €6.2 Million into 26 deals in Poland, making it one of the most active angel group in the country.

Long before your favorite movie made it to a theater near you, it was presented in a pitch meeting. Hollywood screenwriters typically get three to five minutes to propose an idea, but it takes only around 45 seconds for producers to know if they want to invest. Specifically, producers are listening for a logline: one or two sentences that explain what the movie is about. If there is no logline, more often than not, there is no sale.
A winning pitch starts with a winning logline — a valuable lesson for innovators in any field. The most valuable innovations offer novel solutions to challenging problems. Eurostat | Business investment rate stable at 23.0% in the euro area, business profit share down to 40.6%
In the second quarter of 2018, the business investment rate was 23.0% in the euro area, stable compared with the previous quarter. The business profit share in the euro area was 40.6% in the second quarter of 2018, compared with 41.0% in the first quarter of 2018. These data come from a first release of seasonally adjusted quarterly European sector accounts from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, and the European Central Bank (ECB).
