Edinburgh fintech start-up Aveni has secured seed funding of £520,000 to develop its video- conferencing based AI technology.
The investment has been led by the Tricapital angel syndicate with support from the Scottish Investment Bank,Old College Capital and Wallace Equity.
Aveni – led by former Standard Life Aberdeen strategy chief Joseph Twigg – aims to transform businesses’ interaction with clients by automating functions such as such as customer relations management (CRM), fact finding, risk monitoring and adviser prompts.
Its Natural Language Processing software is tailored to the needs of the financial and professional services sectors to take it beyond what basic video-conferencing platforms can offer.
