The University of Edinburgh’s AI Accelerator is now open for applications until 26th of May. The Accelerator is based at the University’s world-leading innovation hub for data science and AI – the Bayes Centre – and purpose-driven entrepreneurs from anywhere in the world can apply to take part in the 6-month programme running from September 2022 to March 2023.
This is a great opportunity to develop your product, your business and your team with access to:
- Workshops and 1-1 mentoring sessions on a wide range of business skills from product pricing to leadership to help you scale
- The University of Edinburgh’s academic expertise, student talent and commercial support
- A stipend of between £5k – £10k per company
- Facilitated connections to investors, to peers and to local and global networks
- Support from our dedicated programme team and partners
- The opportunity to be a part of the Bayes Centre community – including access to the centre’s incredible facilities and office space for six months
- Edinburgh’s Data Driven Innovation hubs, including the National Robotarium, the Usher Institute for population data science, Edinburgh Futures Institute, Easter Bush and Edinburgh International Data Facility.
To be selected, applicants will have:
- The potential to scale in the next six months
- A fully incorporated company with at least a Minimum Viable Product which uses AI within the solution and which fits in one of three themes:
- Improving global health
- Improving sustainability or mitigating the effects of climate change
- AI for wider social good
