Deal Sharing Platform

Angel Capital Scotland’s new deal sharing platform lets its angel syndicate members exclusively share curated, part funded investment opportunities in early stage companies with potential investors.

These opportunities have support from experienced angels who have committed at least 30% of the target fundraising amount.  Most syndicates also have relationships with co-investors who will match all or part of the amount committed by their angel members.

All activity on the platform is discrete and private. There is no fixed investment commitment, all information shared is confidential and investor information is only shared with angel syndicates or companies when a firm investment commitment is made. For more details please visit FAQs.

Deals available are typically Seed or Series A rounds, with values from £250k to £5m. Individual participation is generally flexible and might range from £2,500 to £100k or more, depending on the overall round size.

The platform is only available to prospective investors who meet the FCA definition of elective professional client (COBS 3.5).  You will need to have business or personal experience of early stage companies and/or investment and confirm your understanding and acceptance of the risks involved.  If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact us for more information.

Investors in early stage companies typically want to give back to the businesses community in Scotland and beyond.  Involvement ranges from investor only, to mentor, introducer, advisor or non-executive. UK tax payers can benefit from tax relief through the Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) or Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS), which have both been extended to 2035.
