Scottish fintech gets £1.1 million to develop speech analytics platform

An Edinburgh-headquartered fintech firm has secured a £1.1m investment to help launch its artificial intelligence (AI) speech analytics platform.

Aveni Detect uses AI and natural language processing (NLP) to automate processes directly from the customer voice.

The latest funding round was also supported by Scottish Enterprise’s Growth Investments, Wallace Equity and Old College Capital – the University of Edinburgh’s in-house venture investment fund.
