It is based on a deal-by-deal analysis of equity funding by independent investors in Scottish companies for the calendar years 2009 to 2011.
Despite this being a period of unprecedented economic uncertainty, the report demonstrates that the Scottish risk capital market has held up relatively well, especially in the investment deal band size between £100,000 and £2 million.
